Inger is Norwegian, lives in Sweden, and since May 2000 divide her time between Studio Sem in Pietrasanta, Italy and her studio/home in Sweden. From 2015-2019 she was President (and Vice Precident) of the Swedish Sculptors Association. She is also member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors and the Norwegian Sculptur Association.
September 2020 she received Oslo City Artist Award. Within the recent years she received several international commissions and funds; the memorial ELLIPSE (after the aircraft accident 2019) at Backen cemetery in Umeå July 2021, the PEACE monument at Nebbviken Strängnäs June 29 2021, Frustuna church, Sweden "The Healing Path" 2019, SAS Institute Stockholm (2018), Rome (2018), Majorca (2017), Delaware USA (2017), CASPAIOU Design & Interior, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (2017), Söderköping, Sweden 2015, Alison Pickett Corporation Art, Hong Kong (2015 and 2005), the Swedish State Art Fund for the project “7 artists in Cava Querciola, Carrara June 2011”, Creation of the Oslo Innovation Award for the City of Oslo (2008-2015), Christopher Newport University, Virginia, USA (2009), Christian Rignes, Oslo (2009).
